OC All Star Scrapbook Page {Cricut & Creative Memories}

Happy New Year!

I know this blog has been quiet the last few months. So, I thought I pop in, and share a past layout I created while on the Cricut Design Team. With cheer competition in full swing for my girls, thought a sports layout would be a great way to start off the Monday!

My assignment was to use a cricut download in conjunction with Creative Memories paper. Now, because it has been such a long time, please do not ask me which cricut cut was used. I have no idea! LOL I do love this sweet photo of my little girl!

OC All Star

This page was kept simple, and very clean. I did add small amounts of detail by using a few embossing folders. I do remember those, and used the star, big dots, and swiss dots folders to add texture to the letters.

Details:

I love the chunky size of the letters used in the word Star. I am going to have to hunt down which cricut file was used. I believe it was only available in the cricut craft room.

The buttons are from Jenni Bowlin. They are definitely one of my favorite buttons! The bloom was cut from one of the creative memories patterned papers.

It is CHA time, and I am busy wrapping up assignments for Little Yellow Bicycle, and Teresa Collins! I do have two brand new layouts to share for My Mind's Eye, too! So, be back soon!

Gingerbread Buttons {Treat Packaging}

Happy Friday!

I cannot believe we are already in December! I have been busy with the kids activites, teacher/parent conferences,and crafting for the upcoming holiday! Lots to do, but really trying to enjoy quiet time with my kids. 

Today, I have a cute way to package small treats to share with you! I had these test tubes on hand, that I purchased from Michaels. They were a great size to tuck in all types of small candy. I kept the embellishing pretty simply, and used a gingerbread diecut for the middle of the tube.

Gingerbread Buttons

Here are seven of the cute gingerbread buttons on a stand, made for me by my friend. This would be perfect as a party favor, a small gift for a teacher, or how about at a gingerbread house party? You can fill them with all different types of candy that the kids can use while decorating their gingerbread house. One of our Christmas Eve's traditions is to decorate gingerbread houses. I will definitely have a few of these on hand for my kids. This year, all three of my kids will have their very own gingerbread house! (lesson learned from previous years)

At the top of each tube, I stuck a different pin into the top. Then I simply tied some twine, and hung a small decorative tag. A bit more ribbon for a festive touch!

I did ink around the gingerbread man, and used Pebbles dots to decorate the body. These have been in a bag, so they are a  bit wrinkled in some areas(;

So easy to decorate, and a great packaging idea for the upcoming Christmas season! My Macie has a birthday party tomorrow, and I think this will also be part of their favors!

purging & sharing {scrapbooking supplies} Cyber Sale Monday

I was going to wait to post this tomorrow, but thought I better sit down to blog it tonight.

To be honest, I am getting a bit tired of climbing over boxes in my small space. It also hinders my creativity, if I am not able to see exactly what I have on hand! Ha! So, I thought I would share once again my scrapbooking supplies with you. It is never too early to begin spring cleaning! To be honest, I just want to see the floor(: So here are the details, and the boxes are only $36.00. {This includes shipping}

I do have one box that is full of Chipboard! So if you are crazy about chipboard this is the box for you. It includes Scenic Route Chipboard letters, Technique Tuesday 12x12 Chipboard, Maya Road Chipboard & Albums, My Mind's Eye Chipboard books, LiL Davis chipboard, Pebbles chipboard etc. (I could probably make two boxes of Crazy for Chipboard!

If you love patterned paper, then I can create a box with nothing but paper!!!!

If you love stamps, I can create another box with these elements, too!!

Details:

I filled 10 Medium flat rate priority boxes filled to the top with scrapbooking supplies!
Now, as for what is inside? Now, that will be a surprise! I am not taking photos, but they are filled with all sorts of wonderful scrapbooking goodies! I simply cannot use it all! Trust me, I am creative everyday, even if it is only five minutes.  

Here are the details: 

• Boxes are all different and all random – they may include: patterned paper, cardstock, stickers, chipboard,chipboard mini albums, letters,brads, buttons, tags,misc. embellishments, stamps,flowers, etc. I promise there will be a lot more than $40 worth of product in each and every box.  A lot more.I am taking advantage of all the space in each box.
• $36 per box (which will include flat rate USPS shipping which is $11.35) If you are local, contact me, and I will coordinate a time to drop off your box.(:

I am here crafting away on more Christmas projects.(Two of my three kids are sick today.) I am almost finished with this tray from 7Gypsies. I forgot I had this mini tray! With all the scraps of paper surrounding my work space, thought I could quickly add a festive touch!

Mini Houses {Little Yellow Bicycle} Once Upon A Christmas

Hi, everyone1

Yesterday, on the Little Yellow Bicycle Blog you may have seen this project:

 

Originally, I wanted these cute little houses to stand on their own. However, wrapped around a candle they went! I have to thank my best friend Jeannette, for coming to the rescue! She is so amazing, and I love how this turned out!
These adorable little houses were created with the new Christmas line, called Once Upon A Christmas,from Little Yellow Bicycle.

Here are a few more details:

The pinwheel rosette was created using the papercrafting kit from the collection. I use the 6x6 paper pad to cover all the houses, and added a bit of diamond dust to Santa's beard.

I love this collection. Full of traditional Christmas colors.

Here is a peek of all the tiny houses all together! How cute are they? They would be perfect for a mantle, but they really add that holiday sparkle around your candle centerpieces!

I am involved in a boutique this weekend, so I made a few of these to sell.{Thoughts on pricing??} I will try, and photograph the others once I get through with the other fun things I am creating.

Lots to share, but as you know, trying to navigate,and solidfy some things called, "my life." I am thankful for your kind emails, and for checking my blog. I am ready for 2013, and know that God has a plan for me. Trusting him, and asking him to continue to give me strength! My children are my constant source of strength, and feel so blessed to be their Mom. I look forward to the New Year as we build upon old traditions, and create new ones!

Seasonal Storytelling with Amy Heller {Two Peas}

Little Yellow Bicycle & Xyron Blog Hop

Good morning everyone!

We are so excited to share our projects created with Little Yellow Bicycle’s Acorn Hollow Collection and Xyron Adhesive.

For my project, I created a simple card featuring my favorite glitter technique! This is defintely hands down my favorite technique when paired with my Xyron! I used this technique a lot, especially during the holidays!

This card features Little Yellow Bicycle Acorn's Hollow Collection, Xyron, and bit of shine!

I love this little create a sticker by Xyron. Super easy to use, and great for the little bits you want to add just a touch of glitter! It also looks so cute sitting on your scrapbook worktable!

 

Here is a look at how easy it is to add shine to simple embellishments as stickers, and chipboard pieces, too! 


First, I chose the smile sticker off the coordinating sticker pack from the Acorn Hollow Favorite Pieces Cardstock Stickers. To the back of the sticker I added a scrap piece of paper. Then ran the sticker  through the Xyron face down. The element will now be sticky on the top. This is what we want.


Then you peel it from the white strip, and place the sticky element face down into the glitter! You could also sprinkle it on top, but the item was small enough it fit perfect right into the container. Then you get the perfect shine to add a festive look to your projects:

You can see I also adhered the chipboard flower right on through my Xyron. So easy,and a fast way to apply adhesive without a whole lot of mess. (okay, you may have a bit of glitter flakes, but how sparkly fun is that)

Brand New: Now & Then {Teresa Collins}

Hi, everyone! I think I have enough projects to share with you for a few months. The only problem being, time is hard to find for blogging. However, I will definitely try, and be a bit more consistent in the next few weeks.(I know I have written this before!) Ha!

I am busy kitting out the Halloween Mini book, and of course, other papercrafting ventures. If you ordered a mini book, they will ship on Monday. I had a few more orders at the end, and makes it easier for me, if I can kit all togther. So thanks for your patience, and I will be sure to include a few goodies for your patience! Okay, how about some Teresa Collins? I love her new release, Now & Then! She has such a distinct, and unique style! This collection does not disappoint, and has her signature style all over it! Here is the page I created, and was featured Monday on the Teresa Collins Design Team Blog:


This is brand new to Teresa Collins, and it is called Now & Then. A timeless collection that is perfect for your special boy, or girl. I noticed while I was scrapbooking this page, Roman has a bit of a left lazy eye! He is such a cutie, and the collection complimented his photo wonderfully.

details:

I pulled out my Cricut to diecut the word Boy. Roman is 100% rough, and tough boy! I loved this jumbled design. I added a bit of embossing to the diecut to add more interest. A brad from the Now & Then collection finishes the center.

In this collection be prepared to see a full 12x12 page of chipboard accents! I was soooo happy to see this in my box! The tag is from the chipboard sheet, and again, you know me, I cannot leave well enough alone! There it went through my Cuttlebug Dots Folder! You will also see a Now & Then coordinating stamp set, and the the twill ribbon is inked with the small mini border stamp.

Spooky Treat Class with My Mind's Eye {Timeless Treasures}

Hi, everyone!

I wanted to share another class I am teaching at Timeless Treasures. It is scheduled for tomorrow from 6PM-9PM. Here is a peek:

In this class we are creating six different treats! All using the Lost & Found Halloween Collection by My Mind's Eye. They did sell out of the brads, so look for something else to be subsituted in their place. As you can see, lots of inking, and embossing!

I could not resist throwing in a vellum treat bag! I love vellum, and a great way to tuck in candy bars, and other Hallowen treats!
