Happy Monday!
Today, I have a project I created for the Little Yellow Bicycle Blog. You probably saw the Product swap between LYB, and Faber Castell. The designers used the new Poppy line, and a varitey of different mediums from Faber Castell. I have used the gelatos in the past, and was happy to have another opportunity to play! I decided to create a mini canvas using bits, and pieces from Little Yellow Bicycle.
I first painted the background with white acrylic paint, and using a blue gelato, swiped the background. Then I got a bit adventurous, and brought out a waterbrush. I love how forgiving the gelatos can be. Once the background was dry, I pulled out a stencil dot background. Again, using the gelatos, I filled in some of the dots, and randomly placed them onto the canvas. I also played with another medium to create the clouds, but right now cannot find the jar that I used on them! LOL

Here, I stamped the word dream using black stazon ink. I also pulled two different letter packages from Little Yellow Bicycle to finish the word "Life" above. Using the Poppy chipboard assortment pack, a small flower was used to dot the I. Pulled out the paper crafting kit to create the yellow pinwheel, and embellished it with more chipboard elements.
I tried to achieve a rainbow background on the white canvas tag. Again, all done with different colors gelatos. I used a chipboard frame that I sanded the edges, right on top of the tag.
A finished mini canavas to serve as inspiration! I am loving the Faber Castell products, and cannot wait to receive my markers from Rubber Cafe! Anxiously, waiting to play with them!
Have a fabulous day! I have already been to the gym, and feel energize for the day ahead!
