Happy Sunday!
I wanted to wish all the special Dads in your life, a Happy Father's Day! I spent the day yesterday at Timeless Treasures. I was not working, but instead took some time to work on a few projects. I was able to begin work on new releases by Teresa Collins. I can't wait to share the new collections, and my designs soon!
I did take time out to create the following Father's Day Card for someone special in my life. I kept going back, and forth if I should simply purchase one. However, I wanted him to know how important he was to me, and wanted his card to reflect his personality.
This card uses bits from Echo Park, and paper from an older collection by Teresa, called World Traveler. I also used hardware from Tim Holtz. I used leftover paper to cover the outside of the envelope, too. A fabulous way to use the scraps, and create a coordinating card set. Why, have I not done this before, yesterday?
I found this sentiment on a paper from Echo Park. The 12x12 paper had 4 different 4x3 cards on it. This certain sentiment began as the inspiration for my card. Every single word depicits exactly how I view this special Dad.
I hope you enjoyed this special day, and I will be back with more inspiration this week! Thank you for stopping by!
So glad to see you posted what a lovely card :)
