Happy Wednesday!
Today, I am sharing an altered frame I created for the Teresa Collins Design Team Blog. This frame uses a recent release, Stationery Noted. A traditional collection, that I can also see being used for Fourth of July projects.
This frame is 5x7, and I picked this up from a friend that had a few left over from a recent class she taught. So thanks Jenn!
I love the garland found in this collection, and I decided to wrap it around the frame. I think it adds fun interest, and movement to the project. I added a bit of bling to the outside of the frame, just because.
details:
The pretty pin is also Teresa Collins, and knew it would be perfect as the focal point on the frame.
The quote can be found on this
paper. I simply ran it through my Xyron, and covered it with my favorite white glitter, Diamond Dust. A quick spray of hairspray was used to set the glitter in place.
On the bottom of the card, I added layers of two different small borders. Again, these can be found in her decorative border pack. I used a chipboard button from the Stationery Noted collection, and layered some more bling on top.
I do have one last frame, and think I will create another one soon. This frame is now in the hands of a really good friend of mine, Isabel. She has taken classes from me before, and was thankful she was able to pick this up at Timeless Treasures.
Thanks for stopping by today, and tomorrow I will be sharing another project with Little Yellow Bicycle.
Trying to find my groove again with blogging, so thanks for hanging in there with me. I am trying to find the balance between being a Mom, work, creative time, and of course, dating. A whole new chapter in my life. There are still a bunch of unknowns, and uncertainities. However, slowly enjoying the new changes in my life, and cannot wait to see it all fall into place, one piece at a time.
