Tell Your Story {Teresa Collins}

Today on the Teresa Collins blog I have shared what I am most excited about! When I received her new releases, all I can say is that I was completely blown away by the embellishments! There are so many textures, and mediums to choose from! Seriously, you will not have to shop from your stash, because she has thought of everything!

Here is a page I created for CHA using the new Tell Your Story Collection:

Seriously, how amazing is the teal, and orange combination?? These are simply happy colors, and I could not wait to play with this collection!

Here you can see a peek of  the butterfly border strip used along the bottom of the page. You get so many to choose from in the package! Of course, you can always use buttons on a page for that final detail. Here I used them simply to dress up the journaling block, underneath the large butterfly. If I could have found my stitching bag, the centers of them would have been dressed up a bit more. 

One other embellishment I love are the paper blooms accessory pack. Again, these are punched for you, in a variety of sizes, and in different papers. Again, if only I could have found the box with my embossing folders. LOL Trust me, it was killing me that the vellum banner underneath, and the flowers did not have a bit more texture to them. However, I think the bling medallion in the center helped to add shine to the flower!


The word ticket was found on another border strip from the border sampler pack. Okay, if you have not seen this new CHA release check it all out right {here.} 

Have fun taking a peek. I cannot wait to create with the Christmas Cottage collection! That is next on my list.

Miss Independence {Bella Blvd.}

Hello, my friends!  Happy July to you!

It feels fantastic scrapbooking again! So glad to be back, and sharing what I love to do. Today, it is all about Bella Blvd, and using a variety of their papers to create this fun page of my little Macie.

Lots of red, white, and blue on this page! Perfect combination to celebrate a holiday, and to convey Macie's bold personality.

Hoe fun are those playing cards? They are cut from paper from the
Family Dynamics collection. I dressed them up a bit with punched stars, and chipboard stars from the Tail & Waggers collection. I went deep into Bella's archive collections.

Here I used Cia Chip letters for part of my title, and High Five Alphabets from the Sophisticates line. I am in love with the flags from Bella, too. The ones used above are called Patriotic. They were the perfect small details to the page. A star border punch help to add movement along the bottom of the page.

I do want to take a minute to thank everyone who reached out to me. I know this blog was a bit quiet for awhile. I normally do not share my personal life on my blog. This blog was created to simply share my passion for this hobby. So, I will not go into the details,  but know I needed to take time as my family begins a new chapter. I wanted to take time to concentrate on me, and my children. I am a woman of faith, and know that God does not give anyone more than they can handle. 

I am filled with many different emotions, but filled with anticipation. I cannot wait to see what will unfold next in my personal life. It will be about personal growth, reconnecting with who I am, and simply to be the best Mother possible! Of course, there might just be a bit of scrapbooking thrown in, too!(; So again, thank you my friends for your concern, and your words of encouragement! Sending you each big HUGS!!!

I also want to thank my design teams for their support, and patience, as I worked my way back into the scrapbooking world! They were simply incredible, and I cannot thank them enough! I am very blessed to be able to design for some AMAZING companies! So thank YOU!!!

Okay, this blog may be a bit quiet for a few more days. I am working with new lines for the upcoming CHA show. Wow, just when I think I have seen it all, there is something else I simply have to have! Pure happiness, and the perfect way to soothe your creative soul!
