Stars & Stripes {My Mind's Eye American Made}

Happy Friday!
Today, I wanted to share with you a small home decor project I created for the My Mind's Eye July Newsletter. I used the American Made collection,and a few supplies from the craft store to create the following ensemble.

Stars & Stripes


I used a few small decoupage containers that I simply covered with paper, and glitter. I also found some jumbo wooden spools that I covered with paint, and finished them with more glitter. I was so excited when I saw that Michael's now carries the large tub of Diamond Dust. This is by far, my favorite coarse glitter! 

Here I simply covered the lid, and bottom of the box. Using a lollipop stick, I created a simple star wand, that is held in place with the glittered spool. I wrapped a small strip of paper around, and accented with a couple of stars. I punched a large white scallop, and simply use it to layer in between the lid, and bottom.
