It is June Gloom where we are today. It makes it difficult to get going for the day. All I want to do is curl up on the couch, and read. However, I have three children to entertain. I really do enjoy having them home, and yesterday we picked up a new board game to play. I think we will be doing this for the majority of the day. Gabi bought a 1000 piece puzzle, so I think her attention will be focused on piecing it together.
Father's Day is almost here. So today, on the My Mind's Eye Blog we are featuring quick, and simple cards. I created the following card with the American Made collection. I really love this collection, and could not resist using it for Father's Day. My Father lives in Texas, so creating a fast, and simple card is what I needed to create.

Simple embossing turns plain cardstock into something special. It does not take lots of time, and the end result is fabulous.
