Happy Monday! I hope you found some time to celebrate NSD, and enjoyed a wonderful Mother's Day! I enjoyed a wonderful day with my children, and we had a very relaxing day! They did spoil me with roses, breakfast, homemade gifts, and a new purse! Okay, I am in love with my new bag, but the homemade gifts are always my favorite! Roman gave me a coupon book. I laughed when I saw one was for a thirty minute neck massage. However, it will cost me $10.00 t0 redeem it! LOL He makes me laugh constantly. I guess I will redeem the one hour of quiet coupon today. That was free!
Today, I have the following page to share with you, using Lime Twist. This was created for the Retail website of My Mind's Eye.
I am normally not a fan of purple! I am not sure why, because it is one of my Macie's favorite colors. However, I loved this collection because of the butterflies. This page uses minimal embellishing, with a few added details here, and there!
I used one of the journaling tags to include my computer journaling. I added two small butterflies to accent the top of the tag.
The purple ticket No. 10, is from the bottom of the journaling tag. Here I added it to the bottom of the page, held by a staple. I also added a small strip of natural cardstock that I ran through an embossing folder.
Here I created wonderful layers to house the large butterfly diecut. I did punch two holes on the tops of the wings for added interest. Twine is so big right now, and I was happy to see all the wonderful colors that My Mind's Eye introduced with this collection.
Thank you so much for reading today, and I hope you enjoy a lovely day!
I knew Macie and I shared a special connection! Purple is my favorite color too! Tell her it is the color of wonder and very special people!
