I created a cluster of embellishments using the layered stickers. By adding a button, and bit of string you can add so much more dimension to premade embellishments. I am in love with the Toothpick Flags. They are not just for cupcakes! They make fabulous embellishments on your papercrafting projects. Pebbles is rocking the embellishment category! I cannot wait to see what they have designed next!

Have you seen Water for Elephants? I just returned from the movie, and I absolutely loved it! It is definitely on my favorite movie list!!! Definitely a must see this weekend!

My Mind's Eye Hip-Hooray Girl {Make A Wish}

Good morning!

I hope you enjoyed a wonderful weekend. Today, I have a page to share with you created with the new Hip-Hooray Collection. My Mind's Eye created one for the girl, and they did not forget about the boy! I have been wanting to create some birthday related projects, and this was a great start! 

Make a Wish 

I used some older snapshots of my Miss Macie's Third Birthday! Her birthday was held at one of the favorite child hot spots, Chuck E. Cheese. She used to love this place so much! (Well, she still asks to go there today, and Daddy kindly obliges.)

Here, I stamped inside the flower diecut with the Girly Stamps. I then added a touch of glitter to the image. I created layers with cardstock, and patterned paper to add interest to my main element. I added a sweet tag, using the Tiny Tags die from Papertrey Ink, in the lower right hand corner.

My Mind's Eye Spring Blog Hop

Good morning, and WELCOME to the My Mind's Eye Blog Hop! Begin this Spring Blog Hop in order, so you can have the secret phrase! You will have the opportunity to win the entire collection of Lime Twist! Yes, you read that correctly! For the twine alone, this is a fabulous prize package! For this hop we were supposed to design a layout, that showcases our word for the month of April. There were so many special events that happened this month, it was hard to narrow that special word. However, as I was viewing my snapshots in my Iphoto library, I came across the snapshots of Gabi leaving for her first trip without us. This was such an emotional time for me! How I made it through the three days without her, I have no idea! I missed her so much, that I showed up with balloons to welcome her home. (Note: I was the only parent to do this, so it may have embarrassed her just a tad bit!) lol 

Then as I scrolled further, I found the following snapshot. She was only six years old! She had  such a wild spirit growing up, and was very independent at an early age! So I knew this was the one! I know she is older now, and makes me long for yesterday! She is truly a blessing to us!
It is her time to SOAR!!


This page uses the vibrant Lime Twist Collection, Fly A Kite! This color palette just makes me happy! I love scrapbooking with bold, and bright colors. This collection has it all, and is perfect for the everyday!

a couple of details: 

Here I added a few details to the preprinted diecut, by adding the fabulous twine, button from the Lush 2 collection, vellum cloud, brad from the Holly Jolly Collection, and one from the Alphabet Soup Collection! On this element alone, I have used embellishments from four different My Mind's Eye Collections! Now, that is why I love, love their products! They all work together perfectly!

 
I added just a bit of detail to the cloud designs on the paper. Using my favorite cloud punch, I punched a few out of vellum. Of  course, I also added a touch of texture by embossing with the Swiss Dots folder by Cuttlebug!

Lush 2 Collection from My Mind's Eye {card}

I hope your weekend was fabulous. I am still trying to recover from a very busy weekend. I had hoped for a relaxing Saturday after my son's Birthday Celebration at Laser Quest. However, it was not the case. lol I was going from one event to the another. Fun memories, and lots of laughs to remember.

I hope to be back tomorrow with a scrapbook page. For now, the card above was created with My Mind's Eye Lush 2 collection. I love the combination of black with the vibrant turquoise. Luckily, for me I received more of this fabulous collection, along with the newest releases. I cannot wait to have a  chance to create.

Celebrate Spring with Stella Rose Mabel

This sweet spring trio was posted on the My Mind's Eye Blog, yesterday. I used the Stella Rose Mabel collection, and the color orange was my inspiration. These colors make me happy, and loving the spring weather! (Wish it was not raining right now! However, I guess April brings spring showers!)

a few details on the paper cake:

I thought a sweet cake, created with paper would be a perfect centerpiece for our Easter table. 

The pleated rosettes were created with the Tim Holtz Mini Paper Rosettes Sizzlits Die. They were perfect for creating a fabulous border around the tiers.


Of course, the sweet tiny eggs add the festive details to this spring decor. I created a ribbon banner, by simply twisting this delicate fabric. I anchored it with two lollipop sticks for the finishing details.

Teresa Collins Sports II Edition {Guest Designer}

Happy Tuesday!

I wanted to share a new sports page with the Teresa Collins Sports II Edition. I am really loving this line, and I hope that she has plans for more! I have so many snapshots of basketball, football, and baseball that are perfect for this collection!
Again, one of my favorites are her embellishments! They are unique, and add so much to your papercrafts!

{My son #44 on a mission}

I was very fortunate to be asked to design a few projects with this line. Yesterday, I was the Guest Designer on the Teresa Collins Design Team Blog. I want to thank Teresa Collins, and the talented DT Coordinator, Sesil Cratin for having me!

I still have a few projects with the Timeless collection, and will share them soon!

My oldest daughter, Gabi, is leaving tomorrow for a school trip. We spent last evening, crossing off a few things off the list. I am spending today, packing for her, and trying not to be emotional. This is the first time, she will be away, where I will not have contact with her. I almost did not send her on this trip, but in the end, I know I will be happy that I did. I just wish she was able to have her cell phone. I know she will be in good hands, and will come back with so many wonderful stories.

So off to packing, and to spend the day with her. (I kept her home from school.) 
I am not ready to let her go.
