Yesterday, on the My Mind's Eye Blog, I shared St. Patrick's Day projects using the Stella Rose Collection. I wanted to create a festive party that would simply put a smile on my children's faces! (They were so happy to find this table after coming home from school!)
details of the party table:
I used my diecutting machine to cut out these large paper blooms to create Lollipop flowers. So easy, and definitely put a smile on Macie's face!
When I saw the Stella Rose Ornamental paper, it reminded me of a rainbow. The paper inspired this sparkly canvas. I used my new Silhouette SD to cut my rainbow. (Note: loving my new machine!!!!) I cut my clouds out of white felt, and used the Stella Rose buttons to add the final details.
My go to technique to cover canvas is the combination of paint & glitter! So easy, but adds so much shine to your projects!
At the end of each rainbow are small pots of gold. I spray painted the clay pots with a gold paint. However, I did not realize it had a webbing effect. However, sometimes the little mistakes turn out to be perfect!! The pots look like they have been dusted with raindrops!
What is a celebration without cupcakes? Marshmallow topping, and simple cupcake toppers are sweet decorations!
I decorated these mini bottles for a festive touch! Of course, the shamrock, and ribbon would have made these complete! However, I added a button to the side of it, too!
Thanks to my friend, Alicia for pointing these cute bottles to me. She threw a Fancy Nancy party this past weekend. All I can is that all of her details were perfect. She is also one very talented cupcake baker!!!
I hope some of these ideas inspire you for your own "Green" celebration!
Have a wonderful day, and thanks for coming by today!!
Wow! This is really, really amazing, Suzanne!!
