Good morning!
With Valentine's Day approaching, my next project is ready to be displayed for the holiday! I simply took the same concept of my Christmas Blocks, and created 5x5 mini pieces of Valentine art.
If you received the My Mind's Eye Newsletter, you probably caught a glimpse. I did include a complete list of supplies, and instructions to make your own! Not to mention, the other fabulous creations by the designers! Seriously, this Month's newsletter is full of eye candy! So hop on over to the My Mind's Eye Blog, and add your name to the distribution list. (link is on the left hand side of their blog)
"XoXo 5x5 Canvas Blocks"
These were created using My Mind's Eye State of the Heart Collection. A little bit shabby, with a little bit of distressing on the papers. I did pull elements from the Lost & Found, and Fine & Dandy Collection to round out my project. A little bit of acrylic paint was added to all the sides, and of course a touch of glitter!
I did use two shades of acrylic paint on all sides. While the paint was still wet, I dusted generously with Diamond Dust!
Details of the individual canvas:
Lots of layering, dry embossing, stamping, inking, glittering, and pretty embellishments were used to create this project! I will have another Valentine Decor project to share next week. (It is for an assignment, so will share when it goes live.)
I hope you enjoy this project, as much fun as I had creating these miniature pieces of paper art. Love that they are displayed, and ready to be enjoyed as we await Heart Day!
I hope your day is wonderful!!!
OMGosh! They are just gorgeous!! It's the details that get me in! LOVE...x
