I have been in my scrapbook room the last two days cleaning, and purging through many of my supplies. Why is it that I find it hard to "let go" of some things? I probably should not have started this project, when I do have CHA projects to complete. It started innocently enough with the arrival of the new My Mind's Eye Collections. Wait until you see them! I loved it all, especially the stamps!
They are so generous, that I simply wanted to create sufficient space for all the new product! So it began in one cubby, then the next one, and soon I was standing on so many piles! LOL I am almost to the end, and can semi see the floor. Today, I am tackling my two desks. Hopefully, on Saturday I can start to create!
I thought I would share a card I created for My Mind's Eye. This was on the blog in November, but I have not shared it here.
This card was created using the Lost & Found, Portobello Collection. I loved the vintage charm of the papers, and of course the beautiful artwork. I did add a bit of script text, by stamping in the lower left hand corner.
This was the simple process:
First, I punched out a circle to cover the partial stamped circle on the papers. I used repositionable adhesive to hold it in place. Then I stamped.
By adding just a few stamping details, you are able to add more texture to your projects!
Remove the circle, and you are done! So easy! I love finding tiny spaces on my projects to ink text, or images. (I do have a longer acrylic block, but could not find it when I was creating the card! LOL Now, they are all perfectly tucked into a clear container!) So happy for the little things!
detail of the inking:
I hope you are enjoying the day. Time for me to get back to cleaning. I love that I have purged through so much, but now it is simply outside my door in my boxes! One step at a time. Right?
I will be back tomorrow with more Valentine's Decor!
Gorgeous!!
