Good Monday Morning!
Today, I have a scrapbook page to share with you, using the Tradition Collection by Fancy Pants. If you follow my blog, then you will probably recognize the title. Yes, I used it here last year. However, I love this title, and it is fitting for our tradition of enjoying Starbucks Hot Chocolate. I do need to photograph all three of my children with their "red" cups. However, Roman and Macie would rather have their playtime at the park! LOL
Each day I venture out for my daily visit to our neighborhood Starbucks. I am not a coffee drinker, but hot chocolate on a cold day is the perfect start to my morning!
I do tend to dress mine up just a bit with William Sonoma's Peppermint Snow. I buy a few jars, along with their Peppermint Bark to enjoy throughout the holiday season. My children love this special treat on their hot chocolate on Movie Nights.
Peace, Love & Starbucks
(I know this is not a crisp image, but not sure if it is me, or my new computer) LOL
Supplies:Fancy Pants Tradition Christmas 12 x12 Paper Kit,Fancy Pants Tradition Christmas Buttons, Fancy Pants Tradition Christmas Notebook Journal, Fancy Pants Tradition Christmas Alphabet Stickers,Fancy Pants Tradition Christmas RibbonOther: Martha Stewart Snowflake Punch & Glitter
a few details:
I simply love the beautiful artwork on the papers! Sometimes less is more, so I dressed up one of the ornaments with two buttons, and twine. At the very top, I enhanced it more with just a touch of Martha Stewart's Tinsel Glitter. The punched out stars also have this fabulous tinsel glitter on top!
Of course, one of my favorites techniques is playing with ribbon. Pure ribbon candy, is what it is! Thanks to one of my customers from my December Daily class, for this fabulous term! She described it perfectly! I love twisting, and turning my ribbon! This adds so much to a project, and when creating ribbon candy for yourself, a hot glue gun is a must!
How about a new journaling technique?
Here is a different twist on journaling on your pages. Instead, of typing on strips, try computer journaling on tickets. I love this look, and will be doing this technique again!
Thank you for stopping by today, and I hope you have time to enjoy your favorite warm drink! I will be heading to Starbucks at 8am in the morning. I am hoping this will help me feel better. I am still not feeling well, so hoping this will provide some comfort(;
Have a great day!
