Good morning!
My Mind's Eye has their new challenge up on their blog! Here is the wonderful sketch designed by Anam Stubbington.
I decided to document my son's accomplishment of building his first lego creation all by himself! He loves these plastic creations, but he lacked a little confidence of building them. As soon as he used his gift of imagination, he was so happy with his finished project. My son is 7, but I cannot tell you how much I love watching him simply "playing." I will be so sad, when I will no longer be stepping on these tiny pieces all over the house. I will miss sorting his laundry, emptying his pockets filled with legos, and Star Wars figures!
Love this little guy!
"Soar"
I used the new Fine & Dandy Collection {True Blue}, by My Mind's Eye. This collection is called True Blue, but it is perfect for boys or girls. (Remember my Cloud 9 layout?) So perfect for documenting the everyday!
a couple of details:
The airplane chipboard elements are from the boy's My Mind's Eye Alphabet Soup Playing Cards. Of course, I cannot stop using my Fiskars cloud punch, and punched a smaller cloud from pattern paper. I hand cut a large cloud, and covered it in Sparkly Fluff by the Craft Lounge.
Here is a closeup of the journaling, and the circle embellishments.
If you would like to play along with this challenge visit the My Mind's Eye blog for all the details. You have until the 18th of November, plenty of time(;
Thank you for visiting today, and I hope you have a wonderful day!
Suzanne this is gorgeous!! I love all of the little details...the hand stitching, the layer, the hand cut cloud!! Great work!
