Hello, and welcome to Day Four of : Five Days, Five Haunting Halloween Projects! One of my favorite things to create for my children are treat bags. It can be for any occasion: birthday party, just because, Valentine's Day, Christmas Day, or how about Halloween?
I created the following treat bags for Macie's little friends. They are so simple to make, and I loved the tiny paper bags I used to tuck Macie's favorite candy bar! (Hershey's Chocolate)
I found these tiny kraft paper bags, and I love the size! I knew they would be perfect to tuck a treat into! They are only 2 1/2 by 4 in.! I bought them at Michael's , along with a big package of plastic spider rings. A perfect spooky novelty that all kids enjoy!
"Boo Sweet Treats"
These were simple to make, and did not take me much time! I made 22 for Macie's classmates! Of course, one of my favorite techniques, is embossing! I could not leave the paper bag untouched, so I use Cuttlebug's Spider Web embossing folder! I love texture on my projects, and this does it in no time!
I cannot wait to makes these again, but in a Christmas theme! (The snowflake embossing folder is going to be perfect!)
The paper I used was last years Spooky Alley by Making Memories. A great way to use one's scrapbooking stash!

I created more of the Spider Flowers for the center of the bag. (I will share how easy they are to create, next week.) The small tag, is from Stampin' Up, and actually belongs to my great friend, Toni Long. She is a Stampin' Up Demonstrator, and brought along all of her tools to our scrapbooking retreat. Well, I have been using this punch ever since! In fact, Toni had no idea her punch has been missing! However, being the good friend that I am, I finally told her it was in my stash! LOL I will be buying my very own soon. It is called the Jewelry Tag Punch, and you can buy it directly from her website. {Click here to visit}
Thank you so much for visiting my blog today! I will share my Halloween Banner for the last day of the Halloween series!
P.S. (Oh, can someone please tell me to stop eating these!!!)
Awesome idea and love that spider web folder. Candy corn is very addictive....good luck on breaking the habit!
