How is that for a title??? LOL I will be busy this weekend playing with the following:
I love Halloween!!!! I love, love Halloween! (Have I mentioned this already??) I purchased this tray from 7Gypsies about a month ago! I was hoping to work on it in Big Bear, but ran out of time. However, so excited to pick up Toil & Trouble by Margie Romney-Aslett! The entire collection is now at Timeless Treasures!!! (I noticed I forgot to grab the stamp set, so back to the store I go!)
A perfect combination for creating Halloween Decor! I cannot wait to get started on this tray! I have to go now, and pick up my kids from school! I want to thank you for stopping by my blog today, and I hope you have a fabulous weekend!
In between a soccer game, a football game, and birthday party, I hope to find some creative time!
Oh, Pebbles is having another giveaway!!! So you know what to do, {click here} to win some fabulous flowers from the new releases!

Today I have a page created with the wonderful kit items in Paper Poppy's August Kit.
The mix of Jenni Bowlin, and Sassafras worked perfectly for this snapshot of Macie. I added bits of denim to embellish this page.
The mini Bingo Cards from Jenni Bowlin were the inspiration for my title.
"Lucky No. 3"
Now the bingo cards are a beach theme, but I simply tucked them underneath my snapshot. How cute is that mini clothespin??? Love it, and used it to anchor my title. It was natural in color, but I used Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Cinder to change the color. Finished it with my favorite inexpensive embellishments, string!
detail of title:
I used a combination of stamps to create my title. Punched a small ticket label, and cut a number 3 from one of the mini bingo cards. I included my journaling on one of the journaling labels. Super easy to run through your printer. I always run my text on white paper, and then with temporary adhesive, adhere the label on top of my printing. A great alternative to my own handwriting! LOL
To read more on my page, and to see the future kits from Paper Poppy, {click here}. You really do not want to miss any of her kits. Aphra does an amazing job coordinating her kits, and make documenting your stories fun!
I hope you have a lovely day! My day will consist of cleaning, laundry, and a little creating!!! I received a box two days ago from an amazing manufacturer. I could not believe all the scrapbook goodness that was in it!!! {insert a big SQUEAL!!!!}
I am hoping to play a little today, and will share when I can!!

Well, I am finally posting the back to school layout, I kept writing about last week. I used the new school collection by Crate Paper, called School Spirit. I loved all their releases, and this school ensemble was no exception! I think it is one of my faves! Love all the patterned papers, and their chipboard embellishments are full of layers!
The following page includes a snapshot of Gabriela. We had moved from Texas, and my children were beginning a new year, at a new school. However, I knew Gabi would be just fine. She has such an outgoing personality, and is a social butterfly. (kind of like me!!) LOL She was ready for Fifth Grade!
"Back to School"
I used a mixture of their patterned papers on this page! Seriously, these designs are a perfect match for school pages! I believe I purchased two, and sometimes three in almost all their designs!
A couple of details:
The chipboard elements are absolutely full of dimension, and texture. I used one for the center of a star diecut, and attached it to an embossed white tag. I then connected my tag with the ticket chipboard element with string.
detail of the cluster of embellishments-(I diecut the books, and apple image from a 2x2 Cuttlebug folder, on the bottom of my square patterned paper.(the folder I used was this one.) I then cut the diecut images again out of brown, green and red cardstock. I then layered them on top, of the diecut image.I think the apple, and books are my favorite element of my page. (Of course, I love my snapshot the best!!!) I rounded the corners on all three pieces of patterned paper.
Of course, I had to add some stamping to my page. I simply stamped the days of the week (minus Saturday & Sunday), on the on the cute pencil border sticker. I must have liked the border stickers, because I noticed I bought two packages!! LOL I stamped the days of the week with Memento ink, in Rich Cocoa.
I used Cricut's Celebrate with Flourishes to create my title. Can I just tell you how much I love this cartridge???? A friend of mine, Jenny, brought it along to our Big Bear trip. Of course, I had to add it to my collection(; I used an apple chipboard element within my title, finished it with Glossy Accents, and the letter "A."
Thanks for taking a peek at my page, and for visiting today!
Have a Happy Wednesday! I will be back tomorrow with a scrapbook page, created with the fabulous kit by Paper Poppy!

On the second day of school, Macie wanted to know why she is having to get up early, once again. She did not think Kindergarten was every day! She is not a morning person! (Just like her Mom!)
On the seventh day of school, Macie was nowhere to be found. After I had awaken her, she decided to hide in the laundry hamper, in hopes we would not find her. She said she only wanted a few more hours of sleep.
(Roman is the one with the black arrow towards him! His eyes are shut! My sweet little guy!) Now, this has nothing to do with school, but rather football. (Now, the only reason I am sharing it here, is because I do not want to forget what he told me.) As I typed, I am laughing so hard. It is still hillarious. Please do not judge! LOL
This past Saturday, his team was making a comeback. I could tell Roman was a little scared, because the person he had to block, was bigger. I, being the cheerleader, tried to use a line from Blind Side. (I love football!!!) I told him every time, he his blocking this person, to think of this person trying to get Mommy. Roman replied, " Mom, why would a little boy want to hurt you????" I kept replaying this conversation for hours, and it still makes me laugh out loud!
Roman has missed a day of school due to a cold! (He was trying so hard for perfect attendance!)
Gabi, is blessed to have a group of wonderful teachers this year. We already went to their back to school, and all I can say is that I was impressed!!!! The best BACK TO SCHOOL presentation ever!
Gabi gave me the combination of her locker, so we could take a peek! I wish she had given us the correct number of the locker. We tried about five different lockers, and they were not hers! She does not know the number, only that it is across from her homeroom! (We finally found it!)

This circle embellishment is created by using the large doilie in the kit. However, I simply cut the outer portion, and love the final doilie that was revealed.

Thanks again to Aphra, for this amazing kit!!!
I hope you are enjoying your day!

A few weeks ago, Rich from Making Memories contacted me. He asked if he could use a comment I made regarding their new Noel Christmas Line for their marketing line. Of course I said yes, but I had no idea where he may have read my comment. (I can now add Critic to my resume!!! LOL) It is true, I always love their Christmas lines!! It is always one of my top favorites. I cannot wait to see this colloection in our scrapbooking store soon! I have my 2010 Daily December that I want to create with this line!!!

I love, love Adornit's Jamboree Burst Collection, and with the beautiful star artwork, it was perfect for my assignment. I used this adorable snapshot of my son with his toothless smile! (Gosh, he has changed so much in a year!)
I used one of my new embossing folders from Cuttlebug . You can find it {here}. I embossed a 4x6 blue piece of cardstock, and then went over the whole thing with my sanding block. Love that it gave, a cool distress look to the paper. It really lifted the embossed stars off the page!
a detail of the distressing, and layering:
Since, (all day) was part of my title, I stamped the days of the week, to create a border underneath the stripe paper.
I was also happy to know, that my talented friend, Liz Qualman was also contributing to the article too! I love, love her work! She is so inspiring, and her pages are full of bold designs!
{Click here} to read Georgana's Article. She also created amazing boy pages!!! While you are there, you might also want to purchase some of Ella's Publishing Ezine books. So many ones to choose from! It will be hard to pick just one! A great source of inspiration, for such a great value! (I bought a couple myself!) (:
Thanks again to Georgana for the opportunity!!!
Have a Happy Thursday, and thank you for visiting today!
