How was your Fourth of July? Our day was relaxing, but at the same time, filled with activity from the moment the day started. We kept the kids entertained by taking them to the pool, baking cupcakes, and seeing the fireworks at the lake. It was a fabulous day, and feel so blessed that we were all together this year to enjoy this day. (The only thing missing was my family in Texas. I love the holidays, but I am always a little sad, when we cannot experience them all together as one. Hopefully, we can visit them during the Christmas holiday.)Not to mention, good old fashioned Texas barbecue!!!
A little glimpse of our day:
It started with the assembling, of this yummy berry trifle, in the morning! (Everyone loved it. I was surprised, because I did not think the kids would love the lemon curd! LOL)
We ended this fun day with the fireworks at the lake. I was exhausted when the day was over, but ever so thankful to have these people in my life! I hope your day was wonderful, too!!

Time for cupcakes:
Well, you cannot have a cupake without a topper, so Mommy made these:
