Lucky to be loved by you- Mini {Pebbles DT}

Mini's? Do you love them? Do you enjoy the process of creating them? How many do you have, and how do you store your new mini creations? I have tried to convince myself, that I do not have room for another mini. However,peeking into my mini basket, I find hidden treasures of small, chunky, chipboard albums! They are just waiting to be used! I have been holding onto this one from Maya Road, on top of one of  my shelves. I did not know what snapshots would find their home inside, but I knew eventually it would be filled.

I received my August assignment from Pebbles , and it was a Free For All theme. I knew exactly what I would create, and the snapshots I would use. I know it is usually Christmas in July, but everyday, is a celebration of Love! The Twitterpated Collection, is the perfect paper to document, the following sweet snapshots of my children. From our past Valentine's photo shoot, I had so many snapshots! You may remember, my "Love Notes" Mini Album. I had so many favorites, that many did not get into this album. However, they now are tucked into this little mini. There is one snapshot, that I simply had to use again. (The one with Miss Macie giving her brother a kiss, and he is trying to pull away! LOL) This one simply makes me smile each time I see it, so it is here again.

My love for mini albums, starts all over again. I  cannot put it down. I love to look at each page, and simply feel all the texture. Yes, my friends, I love mini albums, and I know this will not be my last. This now sits on my scrapbook desk, and serves as inspiration, and a reminder of how lucky I am to be their Mom!

How cool is this? I love visiting the Two Peas Member Gallery for inspiration, and was surprised to see my H20 {fun times}, as the featured project for the day!!! Wow, thanks Two Peas!  This simply makes me smile!!

Pebbles Inc. CHA {Sneak Peeks}

Remember the sneak peek of my December Daily?? Well, I have been busy trying to complete it! Now, that I have revisited this project, I do not want to stop! I want to see the finished album!! So I may be spending a few more hours tomorrow. I have definitely learn a few things, I would like to do differently this year. 

I have seen two collections, that I would love to use for 2010's Christmas December Daily. (I will need to decide.) When I am working on a mini album, it really helps my design process, if I am using pretty much one collection. Decisions, decisions........LOL
I will have a small, chunky mini album to share, later in the week. (It has to do with, LOVE.) Now, I know it is Christmas in July, but LOVE is 365 days a year! Right??

Christmas in July {December Daily Album}

I have loved seeing all the peeks of upcoming Holiday Collections! I have seen so many fabulous Christmas projects, too. Yes, it is that time......Christmas in July! (Christmas is five months away!!) This year is really flying by at a record speed for me! However, I love the holidays!!! Halloween, and Christmas are tied for my favorite time of year. (So with that said......)
I am hoping to go to a crop this evening, so I have decided to take My December Daily Album.This album was  inspired by the talented, Ali Edwards.  I love her blog! it is full of inspiration!!! She is one amazing artist!

Now, off to gather my album, and scrapbook items, so I can actually work!!! I tend to socialize, but I love being with friends!

H20 {fun times} -Scrapbook Page

Happy Thursday!!!!
I mix a little bit of  Pink Paislee , and a little bit of Jenni Bowlin,  to create the following "Summery"page:
H20-{fun times}


(I had a difficult time photographing with the transparency on the page, so hopefully it is okay for you to take a peek!)
The snapshot is of Miss Macie, running in the water at our local beach club. The pattern in her bathing suit was the inspiration for this page. The Dazzle Paper  in the Pink Paislee Starlight collection, complimented her suit perfectly! I pulled a pattern from Jenni Bowlin's Playdate Collection {called Sunny Day}, to pair with this paper. I loved the small suns, and perfect for a sunshine page!

I did pull out some chipboard elements, and some stamps to design this page. I have so much chipboard, so I am trying to pull it out when I am working on a project. The raindrops elements, are paislee chipboard shapes. I painted the outside of them with white paint, finish them with a glitter glaze on top. On the paislee shapes with the pattern paper, I applied Glossy Accents on top. Underneath, the top white paislee drop, has a piece of transparency underneath. (I know it is difficult to tell, but it is there! LOL)
a couple of details:

As you can see, I did some stamping on this page. Stamping a few images, or words can really make for easy embellishments for your pages! The transparency is from Hambly, and I simply cut some of the outer portion design. I stamped directly onto the transparency using Staz-on ink. (JULY, JULY is stamped underneath)
I used Jenni Bowlins journaling card, to create my title. I  covered chipboard letters with the patterned paper, and outlined the "2" with the O to complete my title. 
I originally had a different element on the letter O. For some reason it kept bothering me, and as I was looking for buttons, I came across the floral one.  I thought it complimented my page, and I cut the number 16, out of the Sunny Day paper.
I am loving the look of tickets on pages! I wish I had a punch to coordinate with this particular ticket stamp!  The ticket stamp I used can be found

Hopefully, in this snapshot, you can see the glossy dots placed randomly on the letters.  I used Glossy Accents By Ranger.  It is also a fantastic adhesive!

a few {new] scrappy things.......

I wanted to share a few "new" scrappy things, I am anxious to use! I was hoping that during the summer,  I would have more time to create!  LOL However, it has been extremely busy! Our days have been filled with summer school, cheer practice, tutoring, football parties, camps, etc. There has been little downtime, and in about nine days, our days will become longer!  Football practice for my little boy, will begin soon. Roman will be practicing five days a week, for two hours a day!  However, I will let you know, I am so ready, to see him on the field!!! I am grateful that I am able to stay home, and be a part of my children's activities. Sometimes, I feel like I am in my car all day long!  LOL However, I would not trade it for anything! I am feeling pretty blessed that my children have found something that they enjoy! (Though, I wish Roman would not use me, to practice his tackling skills!!! LOL) He will be a force to reckon with, on the field, of course!

 
{I know I am!!!!}

Today, I had about thirty minutes in the afternoon, so I headed over to Michael's. (I needed a couple of things for a quick project.) I found a few "new" things, and I thought I would share them with you!

I always said I would never buy this, because of its size. I have a smaller version, and do love the gliding motion. So when I saw this at Michael's, I immediately put it into my basket. I was able to use my coupon, so I felt a little better in my decision. (FYI: The one at Foothill had one left when I left there today) Just saying...(now I am sounding like my friends, Deena, and Sarah) (:

{Advanced Tape Glider by 3M}: I really think the color "PINK" sold me!!! I love the color pink! Most importantly, 3M is donating to the Susan G.Komen foundation with each purchase!

 

Stamps, stamps, and more stamps! I love stamps, and love using them on my projects. I picked up the following today, to add to my stampin' inventory!

1. {Music Score by Stampendous} I think this is my favorite!!!!! I do not know why I am being drawn to the stamps with music. However, when I saw this large background stamp, I did not hesitate! How fun will this look on chipboard letters, cardstock letters, etc. I cannot wait to have a chance to play! I do have this one by Prima Marketing, too.

3. {Birds of a Feather by Hampton Art}-I love owls, and thought this was too adorable to pass by!
4. {Remember this Background by Hampton Art}-Anything with the word photographs, story, etc., I am going to love

6. {Cupcakes by American Crafts} Now, who can say, "No" to a cupcake???

 I thought these were so fun! I love stick pins! They are fantastic embellishments, and these were                         just so colorful!
  

   
 

{Martha Stewart}-I love so many of her products! (I was hoping to find her new Halloween punches, but nothing yet.)  The bottom scissors are my, "go to" for cutting ribbon.
You can find them {here}. The top scissors are new ones, I have not seen!! They are fringe scissors!!! How awesome is this??? I know you can use regular scissors, but these are really fantastic. Easier too. You can read about them {here}, too.

Finally, always looking for that extra something special to add layers to my embellishments. I thought these would be great for layering flowers, or journaling spots. (They were on clearance, too.)
I did not get any scrapbooking done today, but I did find some special items! I am going to a crop on Friday, so maybe I will take a few of them with me!
It is almost midnight, so I am going to try and glue down a few things, and hope to share that "Summery" layout with you tomorrow!

Pebbles Inc. CHA {Sneak Peeks}

I absolutely love this time of year! Many of the Manufacturer's Blogs are releasing snapshots of upcoming scrapbooking product. I have already compiled a list, and of course, Pebbles is at the very top!!
They have done it once again with three brand new lines!

How fun is this paper??? This collection is perfect for your beloved pet! I wish I had a cat, because I love the cat paper. (I am allergic to cats, however.)

I love these felt embellishments!!!! They are perfect for boy, and girl projects! However, they are so versatile you will find so many uses for them! I love layers on my embellishments, and these are fabulous designed!!

 

Seriously, in love with these chips!!! I cannot wait to buy these for my baby projects!! (How cute is that little bird??)

Best Friends {Pebbles DT}

Happy Monday!!! 
Today, I have a layout using Pebbles TreeHouse Collection! It is no secret, this is my favorite collection to date! Loving the bold colors in this collection! Our challenge was to create a layout based on one of our previous Pebbles layouts! I decided to "lift" this page:
"CUTE & Spunky"

 
This was my very first layout using Pebbles products, and love the simplicity of my design. As you can see, my style really has not changed in a year! I am still loving my clean lines, and my big bold one snapshot, kind of layout!

One of my favorite embellishments are the rubons, from Pebbles! The colors are vibrant, and they apply effortlessly! Gotta love that! The butterfly is created from a punch! I love my punches, and am always trying to find ways to use them on my projects!
