On the Pebbles Blog, the theme this week is Easter. I decided to create an Easter Card, and alter a small gift tin.Instead of the usual Easter Bunny, I decided to use one of my favorite elements, butterflies. (I still love bunnies) I created the card, and tin with the Lil Miss Collection. This line felt so "springy", to me, and felt it was perfect for this week's theme.
A few details:
The butterfly is created from this sticker sheet. I simply cut the green butterfly in half, powdered the back, bent the wings inward, and layered on top of the larger orange butterfly. I embellished the center with two small flowers, and finish with a glitter Pebbles chip. If you see a butterfly on my blog, you probably will see some stitching. Kind of like, if you give Suzanne a butterfly, she will probably ask you for a needle! LOL (Sorry, but I am a little tired from this emotional week!!) (:
The silver tin is one I purchased at Michael's for a dollar. It was the perfect size to tuck in a few chocolates! (Who can resist chocolate????) This is a sweet gift to give to friends, and teachers! A sweet beginning for Easter! I created the same butterfly, except used the "quotation marks", (from the Pebbles Chips), as antennas. For the list of supplies I used on this project, hop on over to the Pebbles Blog! Definitely, stay awhile there are lots of projects to inspire you! Just in time for Easter or Spring!
Well, I better get started on making breakfast, fit for a 7 year old! My little guy is 7 today!! I cannot believe that Roman is 7! Did I mention he is turning SEVEN?? I can remember like it was yesterday, holding him, and rocking him to sleep. He is truly a gift from the Lord, and I am so thankful to be his Mom. Roman, has a heart of gold! So for his Birthday Breakfast, he has requested the following: blueberry pancakes, cut up oranges, and oh yes, I must not forget the "smiley' face! He had me typed all of this into my phone, so I would not forget. His sister has an added surprise! Gabi added bacon to the menu! Roman will be waking up to a "Star Wars" breakfast, and my birthday tradition of seven balloons to begin his day!
I hope you have a wonderful day too,
Well, I for one, definitely can't resist chocolate (preferable DARK chocolate) & that is such a cute & sweet gift! :-)
