"Best of Friends" My Mind's Eye (Pink or Red) Challenge#8

This month's My Mind's Eye Challenge was to use either pink or red based on the following sketch:

 

As soon as I saw this sketch, (designed by Anna Stubbington), I knew I had to play along! It included one of my favorite elements on a page, scallops! (And the color, pink!) Perfect sketch to create more of my scallop flowers!
I use a snapshot of my girls, and paired it with the new Quite Contrary Collection, by My Mind's Eye.

Few details:

 

Scallop flower happiness! (I know. I really, tried hard to stay away from the Swiss Dots folder, but I could not do it!) LOL

One of the things I love about My Mind's Eye, are these preprinted titles! It makes the design so much faster! Cute too!

 

I tied string around the label. and through the beautiful button! What a fantastic way to add more detail to a journaling label.
This button came from a package of Jenni Bowlin vintage style buttons:

These are absolutely beautiful, and complimented this paper perfectly! Love this new find!!!
