In my previous post, I told you that I made a trip to Archivers. I was going with the intention of replenishing my cardstock supply. Now, currently I only have one 12x12 Cropper Hopper file, containing solid cardstock. I know a shocker! LOL The rest is waiting for my for my return! Well, I hope it is salvageable!
Now, since my cardstock inventory is limited, every piece is important. I have been scrapbooking more, but not that much, where it was being depleted so quickly. I finally realized where all my Bazzill was going. It went into projects like this:
Roman has been asking for cardstock for little books he likes to create! I have said yes each time he asks for paper. It was not until I realized, he has made about thirty of these little books. He has used 60 pieces of my cardstock! LOL However, it is fine. I absolute love his books. He has been saving them for his father. Each of his books are titled differently. He illustrates and is very detailed with his writing. Now, we all know that cardstock is expensive, however, his books are priceless. They have been treasured by me, and Steven will love them!
So I made the quick trip to Archivers.I was hoping that they would not have any new inventory. I intended to go directly to the cardstock wall and to the cashwrap! However, I saw that they had received new inventory! UGH! There were many lines of new Doodlebug!
I came home with only one adorable cupcake line:
So cute and whimsical!
Now, I could not resist the new Teacher's Pet Collection by Imaginisce.
Many fun papers! I purchased two of each paper!
The embellishments are so unique, and adorable too!
You will see I also purchased an acrylic stamp to go with this line. I have been eyeing this stamp for some time. However, when I saw this new school line, I went ahead and purchase the stamp! There were many other lines by both Doodlebug and Imaginisce. I came home with only my favorites! I cannot have it all! LOL
I almost forgot to show one more embellishment from Doodlebug:
Lots of new paper and fun embellishments that need to find their way onto projects!
I hope to find some time to scrapbook tomorrow. The last two nights have been filled with Dancing With The Stars, American Idol and of course, the LA Lakers!
I was happy to see that they won last night. I awoke to the TV blaring around 3:30am. I fell asleep sometime during third quarter. I was tired, but not certain what from! I never fall asleep during their games! LOL
Have a fun Wednesday!!!
his book is so cute though ... hard to be mad at him for long. lol! i blogged about this same thing about 2 years ago. my youngest daughter was making her christmas lists ... and actually handwrote about 10 copies. i didn't realize until she was done that she had my good red bazzil cardstock for them. lol!

How funny about that cupcake paper. The second I saw it at TT, I instantly thought of you. It is all gone now. It went quick! Cannot wait to see what you create :)

Okay, Briana used to do the same thing! She loved to "make books"-she however, had a bad habit of not finishing them. I bought the same Doodlebug line at Timeless! We did not get the boutique brads though so I am jealous. I am dying to go to an Archivers!
