I hope everyone found some time to scrapbook during National Scrapbooking Day! I found bits of time here and there. I will let you know I spent half of my afternoon searching for flowers for this layout. My best friend, Jeannette, found the perfect flower embellishments for the same paper I used. She made the mistake of telling me! LOL My poor children do not want to see another scrapbooking store for awhile! They were troopers!
In the end, I could not find them, so I came up with my own embellishment. After looking at my layout, I realized, I used many diecuts for this one. However, with a few added details, they came out really cute. I love diecuts, but I do not think I have used so many on a page before.
I feel that I have lost my scrapbooking "mojo", so I decided to participate in a few NSD challenges at Two Peas. I was hoping it would get my creative juices flowing again. I had really big hopes of getting lots accomplish. In the end, I participated in one challenge! Oh, well. A step in the right direction.
It has been a long time since I have completed a two page layout! Although photos are not great, I wanted to use all three of them. I took these photos of Macie right before we moved to Texas. I can remember how happy she was on that day!
I used adorable paper by Imaginisce. The line is called Twitterpated. You can find all of the paper at Michaels. I think there is also a sale on their paper this week. I love this line, and may need to stock up on a few sheets!
The layout is called You r so tweet.
Here are a couple of close up views:
Can I tell you how much I love my Quickutz? You will find lots of new dies on this layout!
Well, I am off to clean the paper trail I left behind! We enjoyed a really nice weekend, despite the flower dilemma! I did manage to sneak into Archivers to receive my free NSD gift. It was a very nice gift. Will you believe it was a container of flowers and tons of them?
I think I reecived my Mother's Day gift a little early. This weekend proved to be about flowers!
Have a fantastic week! Thanks for stopping by!

So cute!
Even if I went to Micheals, this would not majically happen to my paper, which is why you need to make me A KIT!
