What Am I Doing Right Now Tag

Okay, I have been tagged by the fantasic Stephanie at www.homegrownhospitality.typepad.com. I read her blog last night and thought this was a fun game. I decided to play and take photos of what I was doing. Of, course this happened at 6:30pm last night. I did not have time to update my blog. So here it is a little late!

It is 6:30pm and I am trying to get dinner ready. My daughter has cheer practice, so on Mondays and Wednesdays, dinner is at 7pm. I know this is late, but I do value family time at the dinner table. This is what works for our family. I had pasta going , a ceasar salad,(does not look as yummy as Stephanie's)
. I was also unwrapping some beautiful pasta dishes that I received from Taste of Home Entertaining
. Then trying to squeeze in the Laker game The Lakers were beating the Spurs last time I caught a small glimpse. I was hoping to watch the entire game after the kids went to bed. But, the Lakers lost, which meant they were deleted from the TIVO list.

Okay, so right now, I am cleaning my scraproom. It is in such disarray and I have projects to work on. Deena(www.deenaziegler.typepad.com),our design team leader at Timeless, has project deadlines we need to meet. I cannot work in this mess. It was clean, but because I could not find a certain stamp for a class, I had to tear my room apart to find it! My New Year's resolution was to keep my room tidy, so I need to get this back on track. I cannot believe I am showing you a picture

Busy Weekend

This past weekend was super busy! It started with a gym performance with my daughter Macie. Can I just say that she was incredible? I will admit that I was a little nervous about her. I did not think she would actually go onstage and perform, but she proved me wrong! She was so cute and literally stole the show at the end with her blowing kisses to the crowd! Here is a picture of her
Thanks Robbie! My friend also had her daughter in about four numbers and did so fantastic too! It was a great night! We headed over to Olive garden for dinner. Thanks Ruben for the gift certificate! Wish my family could have seen her.

We then had a full day of cheer competition the next day. I will post pictures later, but my daughter was so good. Her team won 1st place and we had a great lunch afterwards in San Diego. She will now be back to her other team, so this weekend marks that we are now officially in cheer mode. She has two competitions back to back. I am looking forward to seeing her back with her original team. I am in absolute awe of her tumbling. She continues to grow and makes me smile every time she comes on stage.

Busy week ahead, and beginning to exercise. I know I am tired of hearing about this too. I am all talk with zero action. I am going to take this one day at a time. I am not going to talk about this, unitl I have reached my goal of 10lbs. I have more to lose, but this is the first step. I need to do this, to feel better, be a better Mom, be a better Wife, to be a better daughter, to be a better friend, to feel better in clothes and to just get out of this Funk I am under. Wish me luck. I just got off the phone with my great friend Jenn. I think we are finally at the same place. We are going to work together and stay strong. We both want the same thing, so let us do it together. I am going to be her biggest cheerleader. She is such a beautiful person, regardless if she lost any weight, but I want what she wants. So Jenn, no more Cheese Fries!

Great class

Last night I had my page kit class. We made this

We had a really fun time! I had a few obstacles ,but thanks to Toni, she saved the night. I had forgotten a circle punch that was important to the completion of the layout. Thanks again Toni for bailing me out once again! Everyone's pages looked fantastic and it was a great group. A couple of them signed up for two of my classes. so I look forward to seeing them again. Here is one more closeup of the layout.

I had a pretty quiet day. I have worked so much in the last couple of days, that it was nice to relax and get ready for the busy weekend ahead.

Can I change my order to-TO Go?

It is because of this man that I changed my mind to take my food to go! I love Thursdays. This is the time that my son and I get to spend together. We usually go out to breakfast or wander around the bookstore. Today was no exception. My son wanted to go to Cinnamon Productions. Of course, trying to watch what I am eating, I was not too thrilled with his decision. However, once I looked at him, I could not say no. Instead of oatmeal with fruit I was going to sit down with a half stack of pancakes and bacon. Roman wanted to enjoy the meal at the restaurant. We were about to sit down, when I heard a familair voice. It was John Spencer Ellis. He is a fitness bootcamp instructor/empire. I attended these bootcamps about three years ago. This was when I was focused and so ready to lose weight. Granted, he probably would not have recognize me, but I was not taking any chances! I had to bribe Roman to leave and enjoy our meal at home.
With that said, I am obviously not ready or want it badly enough to lose this weight. I know I am not too overweight. I just want to lose some weight, work out and primarily to feel better!!! I do not know what I am waiting for. I guess for the fitness gods to hit me on the head from above. I am not sure. What I know for certain, is that I cannot continue this path I am on. I am walking tomorrow with a good friend of mine. Maybe, her story can help me write my own! Have a great weekend!

It is over

Okay, I am very disappointed to say, but the football season is over. Okay, I know there are still teams left to reach the Superbowl, but my beloved Cowboys could not pull it off. So for that, the season is now over. What will I do, without the football games on Sunday? I love to watch this sport and the Cowboys. They are so gifted and I looked forward to every game. It is going to be a long wait until September. I hope they do not let Julius Jones go, but I fear that they will with Barber playing the way he had. Oh, well, I may have to jump on the Packers bandwagon. At least, I have the LA Lakers.

Last night I went to watch this movie

It was a good movie and it did keep my attention. However, the people I went to called me an Ice Princess! Can you imagine? Only because I did not cry. Yes, it was sad. All three of the girls I went with cried. I would have cried I guess, but remember I was still crying over my Cowboys!!! My heart was stone. Okay ,enough about the DALLAS COWBOYS!!! I will warn you that it will take at least a month to forget.

I walked this morning yeah! Thought I would have a heart attack. Jennifer and I went on the walk together. We are going to walk tomorrow too. I have some weight loss goals that I want to achieve. I will share them with you later. I do need to make this a commitment, but more importantly a lifestyle change. I want to lift this fog that I am under. Small steps. Anyway, I am off to Trader Joes. The most wonderful time of the year

Okay, so it is not Christmas here, but it is Pajama Day! I absolutely love these days and have at least once a month. It also does help that Cowboys are playing today and I am looking forward to the game! We love pajama days at our house. We only have two rules. Pick your favorite pair the night before, and you can do anything you want. Well, I do have little ones, so it is within reason. I absolutely need these days. I am always on the go and our schedules are so hectic. I need my downtime and I feel my children do too.

Yesterday, was a very busy day for me. I had a store meeting and instructor meeting early in the morning. Luckily, my friend was able to watch my children. Of course, she was able to pamper herself yesterday, so I did not feel too guilty asking her(: I had a couple of hours to clean around the house, and then I pretty much stayed at work for the rest of the day. I had a crop of about twenty five people, so I was kept busy for the rest of the night. A few of my friends were there, so that was nice to talk with them. I had a fun group and they seem to get a lot done.

Well, I am off to enjoy a day of relaxing. Go Cowboys!!!!!

Good to have friends

I was having such a difficult time coming up with a blog name. Every idea I came up with was already taken! But thanks to great friends that problem has been solved. Thanks so much Robbie and Jenn!!!! It would have taken me a year to think of something!!******Edit to add that I forgot a very Special person as well! How did I do that? Must be old age. Anyway, THANK YOU Shawnna for all the tips you contributed as well as answering the numerous e-mail and phone calls!!

I had the most incredible time last night at a Tupperware Party!! Yes, you heard correctly. Hard to imagine having that much fun looking at Tupperware. It was not your typical party. My good friend Shawnna hosted the party. I will admit, I was embarassed at times and shocked!! However, I do not think I have laughed that hard in a long time!! So thanks Shawnna for inviting me.

I am going to post more of my layouts in the slideshow area, still need to figure out a better solution. I am not a computer tech, so I was amazed I did what I did. If you click on the image, you should be able to see a better and entire layout. I had Suzanne, whom I met at a Scrapbook convention help with this as well as my banner. Thanks so much for your help!!

Today, was a very rushed day. I watched my friend's son, while she went to have her nails done! Lucky her! We then went to lunch, and next thing I knew it was time to pick up my children. My daughter also had a birthday party to attend. I did stop into Timeless to get material for a class I am teaching tomorrow. Otherwise, pretty quiet and not really productive on my end. Well, I am off to get ready for tomorrow. Another busy day beginning quite early for me. Those that know me, know I am not a morning person. However, I am looking forward to the day after tomorrow. I wonder why.........

It's Finally here!

I did it! I started a blog. You probably, want to know why I am beginning a blog. There are actually two reasons. First, I wanted a venue to connect with my family that do not live close to me. I wanted them to have a small peek into our everyday life. Secondly, I wanted to able to connect with scrapbookers that love this hobby as much as I do! Third. Okay, there is a third reason. I just wanted the ability to record my random thoughts and share scrapbooking projects or layouts.

This blog will help me keep an account of my thoughts or projects. Those that know me, know that it really is just About "Me." I am saying this with humor. This blog will be a little bit of everything and I am excited to begin.
