You might remember a similar post awhile back. Well, it is that time again(;

Details:

I filled 10 Medium flat rate priority boxes filled to the top with scrapbooking supplies!
Now, as for what is inside? Now, that will be a surprise! I am not taking photos, but they are filled with all sorts of wonderful scrapbooking goodies! I simply cannot use it all! Trust me, I am creative everyday, even if it is only five minutes.  

Here are the details: 

• Boxes are all different and all random – they may include: patterned paper, cardstock, stickers, chipboard,chipboard mini albums, letters,brads, buttons, tags,misc. embellishments, stamps,flowers, etc. I promise there will be a lot more than $40 worth of product in each and every box.  A lot more.I am taking advantage of all the space in each box.
• $50 per box (which will include flat rate USPS shipping which is $11.35) If you are local, contact me, and I will coordinate a time to drop off your box.(: 

I accept payments by paypal, and unfortunately I can only ship to the US. 
If you are interested in any of these, please email me at susergi@me.com. If you have any questions, please ask me. I did try, and stay away from packing Halloween, or Christmas items, but if you like these themes, let me know.

Off to CHA Anaheim 2012

Hi, everyone!
Okay, I think this has been the busiest time for me in terms of CHA preparations! In about a week, and a half, I created five scrapbook pages, six altered projects, and two mini albums! I also held a tag class on Thursday night! A big thank you to the ladies taking the class! We had so much fun, and they each bought an additional kit, so they could have a set of tags for themselves! LOL So, again thank you!!! Those that did purchase kits, they will be at the store on Wednesday. I do have a few to mail out, and will do that in the morning. 

However, I will admit I was so tired. After dropping off my projects on Saturday, I came home around 5pm. I intended to sleep for just an hour, but did not wake up until 7am the next day! I woke up in such a panic, because Macie had a cheer competition. Luckily, there was plenty of time, but I  could not believe I slept that long. I do feel well rested, and here I am wide awake at 1am in the morning! LOL

So today was spent in Long Beach watching Macie perform! She did amazing! Her team received fifth place out of ten teams. I thought they deserved a bit higher, but of course, I am going to say this! LOL I did work for a few hours at Timeless, and then off I went to have dinner with the lovely owners of Duetica. So nice to see them, and to meet other designers on the team. On that note, here is a Valentine's Day card I created using the Mandolyn font:


I love this font, and never tire using it. It is one of my December projects. I am a bit behind in my blogging, and hope to catch up soon. Next week, I will share the projects created for January. I know, again, a bit behind over here. Definitely, check out the Duetica Blog for tons of inspiration from the other designers!

I do have many projects to share, and will do so soon. However, I will be taking the next three days off to be at the trade show. I cannot wait to see all the new product, amazing projects, and to reconnect with some of my online friends!

Happy New Year

I wanted to pop in, and wish everyone a Happy New Year! I hope to be back soon. Last week, was such a busy week with Christmas. I tried to focus on my family whenever I could. I also injured my hand, and so I have not been able to scrapbook. I hope to be better soon(:

Purging & sharing {scrapbooking supplies}

Today, I have spent some time organizing my scrapbook room from some of my recent projects. I noticed that from my summer move, I have boxes, and boxes of scrapbooking items that need new homes. My friend, Toni can attest to how much I have sitting in boxes! LOL

So, instead of walking around them today, (As I do, every day) I filled 9 Medium flat rate priority boxes filled to the top with scrapbooking supplies!

Summer Fun Scrapbook Page {My Mind's Eye}

Hello friends!

This page was in the August edition of the My Mind's Eye Newsletter. This photo of Macie was taken at a waterpark. We were invited for a day of fun with friends staying at nearby resort! Lots of laughs as you can see, and splashes, too! 

My assignment  for this edition was to create a summer page, and I turned to the Stella Rose Collection. The stripe patterned paper has been used several times by me, and reminds me of a rainbow. I thought it was perfect paired with the polka dot paper for a page all about summer fun.


I never know how to use bold ric rac ribbon, but simply using it as a fun border seems perfect to me. Here it anchors my circle elements, along with my journaling block. I love the tiny clips from Tim Holtz so much, that recently bought two more packages to have in my stash.


Here you can see a little bit of the added layers on the flower embellishment. My embossing folders are never far away, and I never get tired of the Swiss Dots Folder.


A closer look at the sun with a simple chipboard banner, and another metal clip. Seeing this page, reminds me that summer is drawing to a close. We have been so busy with the move, football, cheer, and soccer practice. I will admit, I do get tired, but being able to see my children enjoy what they do, makes it all worthwhile. Well, except seeing my son run at football practice! Bless his heart, he simply does not like to run. Each time the running drills begin, my heart aches for him. I always nudge my way close to him, to remind him, he does not have to be the fastest! lol  

Okay, time to call it a night! Tomorrow is quiet day, and I hope to awake at an early hour. (maybe not before 8am) I do have another mini album to share with you soon, and a simple project for back to school. I have also been fortunate to have an extra Gypsy in my possession, and think it would be great to share it with one of you! So there just might be a giveaway soon. Stay tuned!

Friends {My Mind's Eye Card}

Happy Wednesday!
Just a quick post of a card I created for the My Mind's Eye August Newsletter. This card uses the Stella Rose Collection. Super simple, and I will not admit how long it took me to create it! LOL I have never claimed to be a card maker. I am not sure why cards are a struggle for me to design. It could be the size, I am not certain. Oh, well it does have some of my favorite elements: a butterfly & vellum!

I am making progress in my scrapbook room! Yeah! I can almost see the floor, and my workspace is almost accessible. I hope so, because I have a few assignments to complete, and begin! Tomorrow is the big day! My family arrives, and I can hardly contain myself!

Mischievous {My Mind's Eye}

Happy Monday to you!

I am trying to settle into a routine, and I really want to know, what happened to summer? We are about to begin school in three weeks, and there is still so much I want to do. I do have family visiting me this week, and I cannot tell you how excited we all are to see them! My Mom, my sister, and my niece will be flying in from the Lone Star State, and will be arriving on Thursday!!! As much as I love California, it is so difficult to be away from family! I feel that I missed out on so much. For instance, my brother now has a new baby girl, and I have not had the opportunity to meet her. It makes me sad, but I try to stay connected as much as I can.

I have not seen any of my family in about two years, and that is way too long! So we are going to make the most out of their visit, and there will be lots of laughs! One thing about me, is that I am very loud. My father, my sister, and my brother, all have loud personalities. My Mom is soft spoken, which is good thing! So put my sister, and I in the same room, you are going to have to cover your ears! My husband will be in for a treat. 

I cannot wait to see them! My sister is coming at a perfect time! She is so organized. I cannot even begin to explain to you, how well organized of a person she is in our family. So I know, she will be a big HELP in organizing my space. Today, I finally get to spend time in my room, and begin the task of trying to sort, and put my supplies into new homes. I am hoping to simply have my desk set up, so I can have my workspace. I am missing my paper!

Okay, I could go on about my family, but how about a scrapbook page?  Here is a page I created with the new Halloween line by My Mind's Eye. It is called Mischievous, and it was a page I created for CHA. This is the last of my CHA projects to share with you. I did create one more page, but I was lucky to have it picked up for publication. I will definitely share when I am able to.

This line has the traditional colors of black, and orange, but with blue thrown into the mix.(Trust me, the rest of the papers do have blue on them!) I love this photo of Macie from two years ago. She was lady bug, and a pretty cute one, too! (;

details: 

I always love the chipboard sheet MME includes with their collections, and this one is no exception!  I layered the Halloween chipboard shape on top of a journaling card, with the date of Halloween at the bottom. I added extra dimension to this embellishment, by embellishing the letter "O" with more chipboard, and brad. The ragdoll chipboard shape was to adorable not to use on my page, and used her to hold this fabulous chipboard banner. 
 
In the upper right hand corner, I stitched a eerie spider web. Well, that is what Macie thought it looked like on her page. Created a spider flower for the center, and finished the element with string.

Okay, it is already 9:00am, and it is time for me to get busy opening boxes, and setting up my workspace!

back up & running

After a few days without internet on my computer, I am connected, and running! We have six Apple devices in our household, but we seem to have misplaced the chargers as we try to settle into a normal routine! It made me realized how dependent I am on my phone, and IPad! I am not sure if that is a good thing, or bad thing! LOL I will probably not blog for the remainder of the week. I have lots of unpacking in front of me, my son has started football, and I have a few assignments that need my attention. However, I have to find a clear spot to create,and right now, all I can see are boxes! I feel so fortunate to have so many supplies,but I will admit, I need to work on purging! I did start the process as I was packing, and you should see the box that I have started! There is lots more to do,and will do it one box at a time!

 

So hang in there with me, and I will be back next week with projects to share!

July has been a month of excitement, and a calendar filled with daily activities. Now, my children have also attended summer school, so this added another detail to the calendar. Note to self: please do not enroll the kids in summer school next year! LOL Of course, I am thinking about myself, because my kids have truly enjoyed every day! Especially, Roman. This summer he decided to take up a new activity, learning how to play the electric guitar! It has been so much fun watching him practice, and ask questions each day. Tomorrow, is his last day of guitar practice at summer school. However, I will have a SURPRISE for him after school. He will continue his guitar lessons, and he will be very Surprised! 

Now, I also like surprises, and I was very Surprised to find this Sunshine Collection in my box. I knew it would be perfect for this photo of Roman. The yellow in the papers just makes you happy! My son does make me very happy, and he truly has a heart of gold! 

This is one of the pages I created for CHA,and I am looking forward to creating with the entire Lost & Found 2 Collection:

I love the gold, and black combination on these papers! The plaid is my favorite! Since it was a page about my sweet Roman, I chose to create circle medallions as my embellishments. I layered each one, and accented with stars. Now, the layered brad embellishments in the package, can be taken apart. Do not be afraid of mixing, and matching to create your own unique embellishment!


I really liked the notebook scallop border, and used it to anchor my photo. This paper had a vintage feel to it, so I decided to use a filmstrip diecut along the bottom. I originally was going to layer a different piece of patterned paper underneath each window. However, the one color of patterned paper seemed to be all my page needed.

ABC & 123 {Fancy Pants Off To School}

Happy Monday!It is CHA {Craft & Hobby Association} time, and the release of all the fabulous new scrapbook releases!!! I know there are few items already on my wish list. Do you have your favorites?

Today, on the Fancy Pants Blog the designers are sharing their gorgeous pages using the new school collection by Fancy Pants. Now I am in love with all four of their releases! However, Off to School stole my heart! I love, love the apple patterned paper! This collection has a retro feel, but with all the basics of back to school! If you have school age children, this collection should be one of your CHA must haves!

The following page is of my sweet Macie. I love taking photos of my children after the school year has ended. It is amazing to see how much they have grown in such a short amount of time! I created seven new pages this past week, but I think this one is my favorite! Maybe, it is because I can remember how difficult it was to get one picture of Macie standing still!

Anyone that knows her, understands that she is never one to sit, or stand for more than a minute! Of course, it was my idea with the apple. However,I will let you in on a secret. This apple is the understudy! Macie took a bite out of the first one, and we could not stop laughing! I ran into the house asking my husband for another one, and I could hear Macie screaming that she ate the prop! It was a funny moment, indeed! I simply snapped about a hundred photos of her, and was so happy to see this one! I can see the sparkle in her eyes, and how small she is in the photo. She is my last baby to graduate from Kindergarten, and it simply makes so sad.

Okay, enough talk, onto the page:
ABC & 123 

{I think in this photo, she is about to throw the apple in the air!} It does not matter, because I simply love that her personality shines through. As you can see the papers are absolutely gorgeous, and the embellishments could not be more perfect! Every item on this page is from this collection, minus the two added office paper clips!

a few details: 

This paper is absolutely adorable, and I could not resist using the Cuttlebug Dot folder for added texture! It is my favorite patterned paper from the collection! I am going to have to a few sheets on hand! 

Here I created a cluster with the journal cards, and the fabulous OFF to school embellishments. The ruler is chipboard, and the apple is from the glitter cuts.

In the Embellishment pack you are going to find cute little math facts, that are perfect details to your page! 

On the left hand side of the page, I layered my letter "B" to one of the 3x3 cards from the collection, and of course, gave it texture, by using an embossing folder. This is layered again, on a mini notebook paper, and anchored in place with two black brads. The paper clip is from my office stash, and works perfect as an extra detail.

I had so much fun creating this page, and I have a few more photos of Macie to scrapbook. So do not be surprised, if you see this line a lot from me! Fancy rocked this line, and you have to hop over to {here} to see the inspiration from the design team!
