I just wanted to send out a reminder about my tag class on Thursday, January 26th, at Timeless Treasures. As of today, I have four spots available. We will be making twelve different tags, with lots of details, and layers.
If you cannot make the class, class kits will be available. For those that live outside of the area, and are interested, please feel free to email me.I do mail class kits, and all my kits come with photos, and instructions.

Valentine Classes at Timeless Treasures

Happy Sunday!
I am in the midst of laundry, watching football playoffs, dropping off my children at their respective play dates, and about to sit down to begin work on projects for CHA. So lots going on, but thought I would pop on in, and share details on two of my upcoming classes at Timeless Treasures.

First, I will be teaching another tag class this month. This time it is all about Valentine's tags. I had so much fun creating Christmas tags, so I  could not resist creating a few more for {Love} day. This class is called: Sealed with Love. We will be creating twelve different tags using bits from Paper Heart from Crate. I am inking, playing with glitter, and using different textures on them. These are perfect for the final detail on your Valentine gifts, home baked goodies, on scrapbook pages, or simply hung on ribbon to decorate your mantle.

The class details are the following:
January 26th from 6PM-10PM
Cost:$28.00

We will create twelve completed Valentine's tags, plus two more as a bonus to the class!

*****Kits are available, if you cannot make the class. All of my kits come with photographs of the project, and complete instructions.

My next class is all about dressing up the basic paper sack, and it is called Embellished Valentine Paper Sacks! This time instead of using Kraft bags, I am using white paper sacks in this class.


A similar trend you will find from me in my classes: inking & glitter! Perfect sparkly combination!

Here is a peek of two of the paper sacks we will be embellishing. In this class there are a total of seven paper sacks all in a variety of sizes! 


I never get tired of these mini paper sacks. They are perfect for gift cards, or to tuck in a small treat. (the label on the bag actually reads: happy love day. The tag is hiding the rest of the sentiment)

Quick update on the Santa's Workshop Class

Preview of Classes at Timeless Treasures

Hello, everyone!

Today, I am sharing sneak peeks of two more of the classes I am teaching at Timeless Treasures.

The first class is an altered shadowbox by 7Gypsies, called Santa's Workshop.

I had so much fun designing all the panels! I love handmade projects for the holidays! We will be creating with Authentique's Wonder Collection , and so many different bits of holiday goodness! 

A peek of the 12 Tags of Christmas Class. Well, I am calling them Christmas Tags, but others are calling them Christmas Ornaments! LOL So whether you use them as the final details on Christmas presents, or hang them from a tree, we are going to have so much fun playing with so many textures!





I think this one is my favorite! We will be creating with My Mind's Eye
Lost & Found Christmas Collection. We will be creating twelve tags in all. I did give you a peek at another one, here. I will share the rest of them soon, but they are all on display at Timeless Treasures.

Scrapbook & Cards Today & My Mind's Eye

 
Today, I have a page to share with you that was recently published in Scrapbook & Cards Magazine. This was one of the pages I created for Summer CHA for My Mind's Eye. I received an email from Amber during CHA, and she wrote to tell me a magazine wanted to publish it. Of course, I said,"Yes!", not knowing it was Scrapbook Cards. So a big thank you to them for using my page in their gorgeous magazine. I received a copy, and every page is filled with gorgeous projects. You can download your copy by {clicking here.}

On the following page,I used the new Christmas collection called
12 Days of Christmas. I love Christmas papers, and this was is no exception. It is full of whimsical designs, and the color palette simply makes me happy! It is so bright, and fun for all holiday papercrafts. My Mind's Eye never disappoints!

Sweet Delight


A photo of my Miss Macie, as we were decorating the Christmas tree. Every year, we hang candy canes on the tree as part of our family tradition. I believe Macie was taking a bit of a break in this photo!

a couple of details:

I love doilies on my papercrafts. Once I saw this collection, I knew I would create individual mini doily frames to create movement on this whimiscal page!

  I am teaching a very similar page at Timeless Treasures. My class is called Stampin' the Details, and we will be stretching this page onto a 12x12 two page layout! You will receive complete supplies to create both pages, plus a full sheet of the 12x12 12Days of Christmas chipboard. There will be plenty leftover for other holiday papercrafts, too. beginning to look like Christmas

Happy Tuesday! I am here trying to finish last minute details on my upcoming classes at Timeless Treasures.It is beginning to look like Christmas. For the last few days, I have been playing with glitter, and stamping with some of my favorite Christmas stamps!

Tonight is the preview at 6:30pm. If you can, make sure to stop by to see all the amazing classes being taught by the instructors. I have seen peeks, and there are ones that I would love to take myself(; 

I will be teaching four classes, and will have samples of three of them this evening. I am teaching a double page layout, Santa's Workshop Altered Tray, and 12 Tags of Christmas. Here is a peek at one of the ones we will be creating in the 12 Tags of Christmas class:



My last class is the December Daily. This class is  scheduled for November 19th. The sample will be in the store soon.

Christmas December Daily {2010}

Good morning! The winds are blowing fiercely on this Veteran's Day. I woke up to the gate door slamming against the wall. With the time change, now I find myself awake around 5:30 am. A rarity for me, but it does help to get a jumpstart on children's lunches. However, on this chilly morning, the winds were too loud, that  I was awake at 4am. It is going to be a long day!

Today, I thought I would share a sneak peek of my upcoming class at Timeless Treasures. It is my 2010 Christmas December Daily. If you are familiar with the talented Ali Edwards, she is the inspiration behind my album. She also has a Question & Answer post on the concept of the December Daily you can read,by {clicking here}. I created an album last year, pretty late into the season. However, I am ready to fill the pages with our daily happenings of Christmastime. I love the magic of Christmas! Of course, I love the glitter, the snowflakes, Starbucks, baking cookies, visiting Santa, revisiting special ornaments, and decking the halls! However, the true meaning is to commemorate the birth of Jesus. My children are old enough to understand, and during the month of December this plays a huge role in our everyday.

This book measures 6x9, and is filled with page, after page of The Girls Paperie Tinsel & Twig! With a few additions from Anna Griffith, My Mind's Eye, and the Noel collection from Teresa Collins, tucked inside.





What is Christmas without a little bling?

I think this page is one of my favorites. I love the image of St. Nick.


As you can kind of see from this image, my album is filled with lots of holiday goodies. I used Canvas sheets, glitter, tucked in sweet tags & envelopes, transparencies, lots of embossing, and of course, a whole lot of Stamping!

"Christmas 2010" December Daily 2010

If you have heard of Ali Edwards, then you are probably familiar with the December Daily Album!  The December Daily is an album documenting all of your special moments through the holiday season. Join me as we document December 1-25 all tucked inside a 6x9 chipboard album. I packed many techniques in this book, and we will be creating with the Girl's Paperie, Tinsel & Twig. We will be playing with inking, stamping, canvas, transparencies, and felt as we lay out the foundation of your album. This album will be filled with your family's traditions, and one you reach for at the Christmas season.
 

Time:
 

November 11 6-11

 & 

December 18 10-2

Supplies: Basic Scrapbooking Kit, paper piercer with mat, favorite black ink, brayer, paper trimmer, glitter glue, pop dots, glue dots, exacto knife, or sanding block, cropadile, wet wipes, needle
